Optimal Armour – Who Are We?

Optimal Armour Ltd was formed in 2006 with the aim of providing Optimised armour solutions and associated services for Public, Private and Military sectors.

Whilst Optimal Armour is a newly formed company, we have an extensive knowledge of the security market. With over 35 years experience in the design, manufacture & testing of armour solutions and composites between the 3 Directors, Optimal Armour has the expertise to supply a wide range of diverse products.

We offer basic Architectural Armour to various grades off the shelf. These are supplied as either 2m x 1m or 8’ x 4’ panels. Cutting (if required) can be undertaken using various forms of data from traditional templates and paper drawings through to electronic CAD data including: AutoCad, Catia, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Unigraphics and others.

As well as standard products, we pride ourselves on being able to design and deliver armour to withstand attack from virtually any threat. If you require a bespoke system, we will happily work with you to realise an OPTIMAL ARMOUR solution.

Having worked on numerous high profile projects, using some of the world’s most exotic ballistic materials, we are in a strong position to offer a refurbishment service to existing armour solutions that may require such things as replacement tiles, delamination repairs, etc.
